Eunice Hughes was born May 27, 1926 in Tennessee and grew up in Long Island, New York. Eunice worked as a registered nurse, secretary, and photographer, however, her most successful profession was as a mother of five children.

She currently lives in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands and has seven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
